Kansas City 2022 Homicide #81: Man Shot Dead In Northland Parking Lot

This morning Kansas City police are asking the community for help with their latest homicide investigation as the level of deadly local violence continues to escalate this Summer.

Homicide 2633 NE 43rd Street

This morning, just after 2 AM, officers were dispatched to 2633 N. E. 43rd St. in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival they found an adult male victim lying in the parking lot who had been shot and was unresponsive. EMS arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.  We do not have any suspect information to share at this time and are asking for the public’s help.

Detectives and crime scene personnel have responded to the scene and are actively canvassing for witnesses and processing the scene for evidence. If you have any information please call the Homicide unit at 234-5043. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call the TIPS hotline at 474-TIPS, with up to a $25,000 reward for an arrest in this case.

Man shot and killed in Best Western parking lot in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police are looking for whoever shot and killed a man in the parking lot of a Kansas City motel early Thursday morning. Officers responded just after 2 a.m. to the Best Western at Northeast 43rd Street and Kansas Avenue on a call of a shooting.
