This isn't a partisan screed . . . It's marketing deconstruction that's much more useful than revealing to ur mom that Tom Cruise war movies are just gay soft pr0n.

THE LUCAS KUNCE CAMPAIGN IS FAKE NEWS!!! IT'S BRANDING NOT POLITICS AND MISSOURI DEMOCRATIC PARTY LEADERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!!

The candidate is straight out of central casting and he's less exciting than the day when white met bread. 

Our main pet peeve and the giveaway that this dude is just fakery . . .

Why didn't Mr. Kunce gain any experience in a local government before launching a Senate run???

He had one campaign for the Missouri House where he was beat soundly and somehow that qualifies him to run for Senate??!?

Once again because this kind of marketing exercise makes me nearly as sick as real exercise . . .

THE LUCAS KUNCE CAMPAIGN REPRESENTS EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND THEIR DISGUSTING APPROACH TO IDENTITY POLITICS!!!

Do we respect his military record . . . Of course . . . But that alone doesn't qualify somebody for one of the top jobs in the nation.

What has Lucas Kunce accomplished in terms of public policy for Missouri???

 I'll wait . . . 

Hint: NOTHING. 

The Yale grad is slumming in Missouri and it's insulting to anybody who REALLY lives here and believes that real political work and not just an Ivy League résumé merits election season respect.  

Thing of it is . . . 

I don't have too get too worked up about any of this because it'll be hilarious to watch this campaign waste THREE MILLION BUCKS in order to place a distant 2nd if anybody but Grietens is the opposition. 

Sure . . . Kunce is probably better than a world class creeper but that's not much of an achievement.

Now . . .

What this campaign has shown us is that Missouri Democratic Party leaders would rather hedge their bets on corporate politics rather than build a platform and create grassroots infrastructure. 

Instead . . . K Street and the feds are giving us a political lesson in maneuver warfare by way of flannel shirts, nicely cut t-shirts and more money than God.

Again, TKC doesn't really like any of the GOP candidates but sadly we look at the opposition and see nothing but a Beltway gimmick that deserves to lose against people who aren't as impressive but at least seem believe what they're saying and have worked LOCALLY to build their careers.
