Johnson County Black Bob Park Homicide Aftermath Juvy Guilty Plea Deal

A golden ghetto reminder for young & old that EVERYBODY takes the deal . . .

Five other young teens have submitted not-guilty pleas over the same Black Bob Park shooting death.

As part of a plea for a second-degree murder charge, the 14-year-old will serve up to 8-years in a juvenile detention facility with the possibility of an early release for good behavior. Any violations of that deal would result in the teen being charged as an adult.

Two 13-year-olds charged in the case cannot be tried as adults under Kansas law. Prosecutors are trying to have the three other charged 14-year-olds tried as adults.

The 14-year-old that entered a guilty plea is slated to be sentenced on Aug. 24, 2022.
