Conservative Kris Kobach Endorses Kansas 'Value Them Both' Yes Vote

The right-wing AG contender weighs in on a controversial decision for Sunflower State voters and, at least, doesn't allow for any ambiguity regarding his position.

Kobach said he is 100% in favor of the amendment, calling the Kansas Supreme Court 2019 decision “horrendous”.

“It returns us to the prior status quo before the Kansas Supreme Court made that really horrible mistake,” Kobach said. “And as a result of that mistake, right now, you’re seeing a massive increase in people coming into Kansas to get abortions. We are becoming kind of the destination abortion state of the midwest. And that’s why the ‘yes’ vote is so critical,” Kobach said.

Kobach also stated a yes vote, “…would correct that error of the Kansas Supreme Court, and make clear that there is no constitutional right to an abortion in Kansas. Rather the legislature can decide how they want to regulate it.”

Kris Kobach looking to secure AG win in primary election

TOPEKA (KSNT)- Kansans are days away from voting in the primary election on Aug. 2. There are many things on the ballot besides the Value Them Both amendment. One of those is determining who will go to the general election for the now open attorney general seat.
