SHOW-ME TONKA THE CHIMP ALIVE!!!

Forgive us for taking our time with what could be the most important Missouri story of liberation since that every one time I flaked out of helping lady friends move their junk.

Also . . .

Forgive me if this story scares me if only because somebody taking a chimp out of a basement scares TKC for a lot of reasons . . . If they find out the ape had a keyboard and loved coffee . . . I'm in trouble.

Anyhoo . . .

Here's a sign every creature yearns to breathe free and/or there's no escaping diligent activists no matter how far on the food chain . . .

"Tonka the Chimp was rescued by PETA from Tonia Haddix, who had taken ownership of Tonka and other chimps after PETA sued over their living conditions at a different facility.

"PETA said they found Tonka in a Sunrise Beach basement in the Lake of the Ozarks. A lawyer with the organization said Haddix took him there to go into hiding away from her home in Festus."
