Kansas City Star Hypes Vasectomies Amid Abortion Debate

Today the Kansas City Star is pushing a trend that our blog community identified a few days ago.

To start the week we noticed that "dudes getting snipped" is what's hot on the street according to local media.

Here's today's newspaper support of the imagined trend . . .

"Since the ruling dropped on Friday, The Kansas City Urology Care, which has about a dozen locations in the region, has seen nearly a 90% increase in vasectomy consultation, according to urologist, Dr. Christian Hettinger. Vasectomies are a safe and effective form of birth control for people who have sperm and are trying to prevent pregnancy, but Kansas City doctors warned they are intended to be permanent."

Accordingly we note with compassion . . .

ANYBODY WHO BELIEVES THE KANSAS CITY STAR DESERVES TO BE NEUTERED!!!

But more importantly . . .

What are "people who have sperm" according to the newspaper??? Because that sketchy definition also applies to a gracious lady friend after date night.

Is the Kansas City Star now afraid to use the term MEN . . . Has dead-tree media crossed a dangerous progressive language threshold that would deny half their readers???
