Kansas City Star Begs Everyone To Watch Jan. 6 Coverage Instead Of Enjoying Nice Weather

Tonight the evening temperatures should be in the upper 70s with very little humidity. Perfect weather taking a walk, eating outdoors or just enjoying life away from a screen.

In a few weeks Summer arrives and this town will be a muggy hell-hole and locals will retreat for their A/C.

And so . . .

Locals can enjoy the nicest days of Springtime . . . Or watch the angry aftermath of political grandstanding over a tragic but pointless partisan panty raid.

All Americans should watch the hearings, and read the findings, which are likely to illustrate how catastrophically close the nation came to losing self-government that day.

Then Congress should act to make sure a similar coup attempt is off the table in 2024.

Of course we'll talk about this again in the evening but for now we want to consider if local GOP leaders helped overthrow the government by way of mean tweet and/or encouraging the functionally illiterate.
