Kansas City 'Sideshow' Drivers Charged With Blocking Streets & Shooting Victims

Every weekend a bevy of amateur criminals and car enthusiasts use mobile phone tech to congregate, block streets and tear up local streets in order to earn social media street cred.

It's a present day take on a drag race but now they call it a side show because illegal drag racing was ruined by a vast array of horrible movies starring Vin Diesel.

Recently, one of these incidents got out of hand and sparked a rolling gun battle on local streets.

Here's a bit of description . . .

"The unnamed victims told police they tried to ask the group at the sideshow to let them through, but they said no and assaulted the woman, court records say. Because it was a medical emergency, they decided to drive through the sideshow, striking two cars in the process, police said."

One of the vehicles began chasing after the family for several miles. Charging documents say A SUSPECT fired a gun at the family's vehicle, hitting the woman in the arm and their vehicle several times. Two children in her car, ages 6 and 8, were not injured.
