Kansas City Man Charged With Threats To Blow Up Worlds Of Fun In 'Texas-Style' Shooting

The 2022 Summer of fear is underway in Kansas City as another threat and, thankfully, quick response from authorities has put an alleged creeper threatening youngsters behind bars.

Clay County authorities said THE SUSPECT made multiple calls Sunday threatening the staff at the Hometown Studios Hotel on North Corrington Avenue and allegedly saying he was going to blow up the amusement park and kill kids.

A probable cause statement said that Smith had called North Kansas City police threatening "to go out on his own terms and to have a Texas-style shooting."
