Kansas City 2022 Homicide #66: Man Shot Dead In Apt. Near Arrowhead Stadium

A deadly double shooting leaves a man dead this afternoon and pushes Kansas City's homicide pace past last year's near record-breaking total.

Homicide 4500 block of Colonial Terrace

Today just after 12 pm, officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Colonial Terrace in regard to a shooting. An adult female called the police stating she had been shot. When officers arrived they found the adult female suffering from gunshot wounds. Also inside of the apartment they found an adult male who had been shot and was unresponsive. EMS responded and pronounced that victim deceased. We do not have any suspect information at this time and we are asking for the Public’s help.

Detectives and crime scene personnel have responded to the scene and are actively canvassing for witnesses and processing the scene for evidence. If you have any information please call the Homicide unit at 234-5043. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call the TIPS hotline at 474-TIPS, with up to a $25,000 reward for an arrest in this case.

KC police investigating a deadly shooting near Arrowhead Stadium

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says it's investigating a deadly shooting early Wednesday afternoon. Police say a call reporting the shooting came in just after noon at 12:05 p.m., near 4600 Colonial Terrace.KCPD arrived at the scene to discover the caller, a female victim, suffering from life-gunshot wounds.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to a fatal shooting Wednesday in Kansas City, Missouri. KCPD officers responded shortly after noon to the reported shooting at 4551 Colonial Terrace, according to KCPD. Upon arrival to the scene, police located a male victim who was pronounced dead.
