Kansas City Homeless 'Campus' Not Camp

Services for local hobos are important and it's critical for a municipality to help take care of those who can't fend for themselves at the moment . . . Our friends in JoCo are getting the point about this fact of live and starting to develop their own services rather than just dropping off drifters at their city limits like the opening scene from Rambo.

Here's a look at the local effort and an import terminology switcheroo . . .

(Hope Faith) has seen an uptick in people using its services because of the heat. On Tuesday and Wednesday, more than 220 people used their homeless assistance campus per day.

Homeless assistance campus seeing uptick in people from the heat

Hope Faith is a local organization working to help the homeless population in Kansas City. It has seen an uptick in people using its services because of the heat. On Tuesday and Wednesday, more than 220 people used their homeless assistance campus per day. Doug Langner is the executive director of Hope Faith.
