Insider: Jackson County 'Aggressively' Conducting Property Tax Reassessments

Around the metro locals have noticed visitors asking questions about their homes and leaving official notes for property owners to contact the courthouse regarding property taxes.

This isn't a scam . . . It's a very real consequence of the current administration.

To wit . . .

INSIDERS WARN THAT JACKSON COUNTY IS AGGRESSIVELY LOOKING TO REASSESS PROPERTY TAXES FOR 2023!!!

For better or worse . . . At least Exec Frank White's administration is being forthright with residents about the process . . . But the timing is awful . . . We asked an insider about it and here's the answer:

"He's not thinking. His administration is simply trying to maximize revenue with no consideration as to how that's going to hurt residents or even impact his election chances."

Remember that every Exec over the past 20 years has done their best to shield residents from higher rates . . . However . . . After a recent controversy in 2019 . . . Exec Frank White took a somewhat confrontational approach to widespread criticism.

The pandemic provided a respite from reassessments but now the party has started again.

Another worthwhile quote . . .

"It might be a perfect storm confronting the Executive. Voters are angry and Democratic Party over high gas prices and inflation . . . Add rising property tax to the mix and that's three strikes against the incumbent."

Developing . . .
