Here's just a bit of shouting for emphasis . . .

FIVE DOLLARS PER GALLON GAS IN KANSAS CITY IS NOW INEVITABLE AND THREATENS THE LOCAL ECONOMY!!!

In the aftermath of Memorial Day weekend it seems that gas prices are already on their way to the moon with very little holding back the inflationary surge. 

And, sorry, but . . . Taking the bus, riding a bike or pretending to use the streetcar won't make things much better because higher gas makes EVERYTHING more expensive. 

Here's the word . . . 

"The Sinclair gas station on West Pennway in Kansas City, Missouri, sat at $4.89 Sunday morning, above the national average of $4.84."

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Pain at the pump continues. As the national average for a gallon of gas nears $5, so is the price at a Kansas City gas station. The Sinclair gas station on West Pennway in Kansas City, Missouri, sat at $4.89 Sunday morning, above the national average of $4.84.
