Will Kansas City Politicos Support Prez Biden Against Ultra-Popular 9mm Guns???

Because if they do . . . They're toast and they'll never hold another office in Kansas City.

To wit . . .

We question how much our local political friends are willing to put on the line as the Democratic Party stupidly decides to target gun rights before Midterm election season.

Reality check . . .

Whilst we love our progressive enclave in Kansas City, MO . . . Let's not forget this is the Heartland and people LOVE their guns here . . . Pretty much every other dude you see walking on local streets has access to a 9mm.

Again, we can't help but think the Prez is getting bad advice or doesn't know how popular these guns are amongst the American populace.

Here's some perspective and then links we tried to pull from both sides of the issue . . .

"So, the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting," President Biden added. "Remember, the constitution was never absolute."

"You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed," Biden said. "You couldn’t go out and purchase a lot of weaponry."

The president, however, ruled out the possibility of issuing an executive order on guns, saying: "I can’t dictate this stuff."

The 9mm round is the most popular handgun caliber in the United States, accounting for well over half of all handguns produced in 2019, according to Shooting Industry magazine. The data showed that throughout the 2010s, 9mm pistols made up more than 40% of all pistols produced in the United States – or roughly four in every ten pistols.
