Homicide 3000 block of E. 49th
Today around 4:25 PM, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of East 49 Street. The calling party stated a person had been shot. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle on the side of the street. As they approached they found a male victim who had been shot and was unresponsive. EMS responded and pronounced that victim deceased. We do not have any suspect information at this time and are asking for the public’s help.
Detectives and crime scene personnel have responded to the scene and are actively canvassing for witnesses and processing the scene for evidence.
