CAN WE CLEAN UP KANSAS CITY WITH ONLY 10 MILLION BUCKS?!?

Two ambitious and helpful council ladies seem to think this town hasn't yet devolved into an irredeemable garbage dump.

Take a peek at an upcoming ordinance crafted by council ladies Hall & Robinson that MIGHT address part of this town's trashy reputation . . .

Ordinance #220383 - Reducing $6,170,308.00 from the American Rescue Plan Fund reserve and increasing the American Rescue Plan by $6,170,308.00 for the purchase of trash receptacle carts and recycling bins; appropriating $10,829,692.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund for the purchase of trash receptacle carts and recycling bins; and designating requisitioning authority.

Double bonus . . .

There's not much talk about "equity" or "green" solutions in this legislation so it might actually accomplish something.

Again . . . This is Sunday good news so we're trying to be hopeful.

Developing . . .
