The post-COVID era hasn't been kind to Kansas City baseball.
The team's journey from first to worst was already complete before lockdown but now the team has emerged with a sense of hapless corporate groupthink that FAILS at both community relatations and assembling a decent infield.
For the record . . .
Mr. K was a Kansas City hero and his legacy continues to power the culture of this town.
At the very least David Glass brought another World Series win to the team.
But this guy . . .
He seems like a boss who just outsourced his workforce to Asia minor after skimping on the Christmas bonuses with a subscription to the Jelly Of The Month club.
Meanwhile . . .
In 2022 most of the team's efforts seems to be directed at winning taxpayer support for a rip-off downtown stadium rather than winning on the field.
In any event, here's a peek at an interview with the dude courtesy of local MSM that has to be nice to guy but in order to book commercials . . .
"A visit to the owner's suite and its obvious he is an avid Royals fan. Sherman is the third owner the Royals have had. He was handpicked by the previous owner David Glass."
