TKC PROUDLY ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR KANSAS CITY MAYOR!!!

In the course of human events there comes a time when a person must put aside studying, analyzing and debating problems and, instead, focus energy on solving serious dilemmas.

And so, because I'm totally serious about improving my own circumstances and working toward the betterment and progress of all my neighbors . . .

I'M ANNOUNCING MY CAMPAIGN FOR MAYOR OF KANSAS CITY!!!

Here are the deets for now . . .

Sadly, there's always pesky questions about culture war nationwide issues confronting local politicos with little to no impact on civic life . . .

Thankfully, Kansas City elections are nonpartisan and instead of working to solve the world's problems we want to provide hyperlocal focus on the effective & efficient use of taxpayer resources.

Drilling down with laser focus on the basics of local issues will be overriding message of this campaign and that's how we'll answer so many critics who attempt to distract from our goal by way of deriding the locker room talk in the comments of this blog.

To that effect . . .

We won't try to debate Republican Vs. Democratic Party issues and INSTEAD we'll take our cues from 21st Century political guru Ron Swanson.

Sure, he's a fictional character and I didn't watch Parks & Rec but the highlights popped up in my Youtube feed and it's hard to argue with the guy's logic.

Therefore . . .

Close readers might have noticed that our posting schedule has been a bit erratic over the past few weeks . . . That's because we've been working on a campaign website that's soon to debut. We've also been planning a great deal of our strategy.

Already, we've found a loyal dozen volunteers in the Northland ready to help us with our campaign efforts and a magnificent seven dedicated campaign supporters in Midtown.

For those who question if this is an April Fool's Day stunt . . .

Absolutely not. How dare you? We're actually offended by the implication.

We're taking this campaign seriously and dedicate ourselves to making a legitimate impact on the upcoming KCMO Mayoral election.

TKC might be a bit of a prankster but the current regime at city hall has become the real joke. We feel that our blog community might not only serve as the punchline but also provide practical witticism so that our beloved cowtown can move forward.

Developing . . .
