Residency Questions Continue To Confront Former Kansas City Newsman Mark Alford

This week we posted a campaign update from this politico and noted that he's garnering a great deal of traction in his contest. 

There is simply no denying that the TV anchor has more charisma and a higher public profile than any other candidate in this contest. 

However . . . 

That doesn't mean there aren't legit challenges headed his way as the primary approaches.

Credit to our blog community for these valid questions which still haven't REALLY been answered by the candidate who has only promised to move into his district closer to election time . . .

Does MO 4th District Congressional candidate Mark Alford reside inside a P.O. Box in Raymore Missouri?

We ask the question, not because we dislike Alford, but rather because we question if he's playing "political games" of opportunism, bending the rules, and crossing the lines of truth, honesty, and public trust in order to advance himself.

According to his FEC Statement of Candidacy (filed October 2021), Alford lists P.O. Box 1634, Raymore, MO 64083 as his address . . .

That's odd because according to the most recent Jackson County property tax records, Mark and Leslie Alford reside in KCMO.
