We're uncertain if the pooches in this cowtown are health conscious or merely virtue-signaling for the benefit of progressive masters.

Either way . . . Here's a bit of pupper health info for those of us who don't want our doggies eating whatever garbage they find on the street . . . Very much like most single dudes.  

Kansas City was one of 21 municipalities wherein this research was conducted . . . 

The study compared about 2,500 dogs that were fed either commercial meat like kibble, raw meat or a vegan diet.  
 
Dogs on either the vegan or raw meat diets did better — fewer veterinary visits, health disorders or need for medication — than those that consumed commercial foods, the researchers wrote.
