Kansas City Northeast Middle School Endures DEADLY Stabbing

Today we share a roundup of tragedy at a local school and a glimpse at the NEXTGEN becoming increasingly violent . . . Very much like the grownups in this cowtown.

Here are the basics . . .

Emergency crews were called to Northeast Middle School in the 4900 block of Independence Avenue, near Chelsea and Brighton avenues, shortly after 9 a.m.

One person has been stabbed. Police said that the individual suffered life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed the victim is a male student.

A person of interest is in custody -- that individual is also a male student.

What can you tell us about what happened this morning, just after 9:00. Officers were called to the middle school here behind me on a reported cutting call for service. Um, upon their arrival, they located a male victim, a student at the school inside suffering from apparent stab wounds.

In an email to staff members, the Kansas City Public School District said it has communicated early dismissal plans with parents and guardians who have students at the school.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a juvenile male, suffering from apparent stab wounds inside a bathroom.

Northeast MS parents left with questions after stabbing seriously injures student

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After a stabbing Tuesday at Northeast Middle School, worried parents in Kansas City, Missouri, gathered outside to pick up their children. Students were dismissed by floors, starting with the fourth floor of the school. "They were supposed to have a lockdown drill, so we thought it was a drill," student Chasity Spencer said.
