Criminals in Kansas City are becoming increasingly, brazen and brutal as this cowtown's homicide rate continues to keep pace with rising rates of killing over the past two years.
Remember . . .
Last year and in 2020 there were around 42 homicides committed by this date on the calendar -- Those two years were the 2nd worst & all time deadliest years for killing in KCMO history . . . Respectively.

Homicide 12th and Hardesty
Just before 4pm, officers were called to the area of E 12th St and Hardesty Ave in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located the victim, an adult female, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds just south of the intersection off the roadway. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
There is no suspect information at this time.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel have responded to the scene. They will be processing the scene for evidence and canvassing for any potential witnesses.

Kansas City, Missouri, police have confirmed that a woman was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in east KC.KCPD says the deadly shooting happened near 12th and Hardesty. The shooting is believed to have occurred just after 4 p.m.No further suspect or victim information has been made available at this time.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City police are investigating a homicide Tuesday afternoon on the city's east side. Police said officers were called to East 12th Street and Hardesty Avenue just before 4 p.m. A woman was found deceased. This is the city's 38th homicide of 2022, according to KCPD crime statistics.
Just after 4 p.m. today, Kansas City Missouri police officers were called to the intersection of 12th and Hardesty on a reported shooting. Upon arrival officers found the body of an adult female victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. EMS did respond to the scene unfortunately, the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
