JON STEWART SPEAKS UP FOR VETERANS IN KANSAS CITY!!!

A group gathered outside the WFW national headquarters in Kansas City. Comedian Jon Stewart was there supporting the bill. He highlighted the urgent need to pass the act saying it honors our nation's promise to care for our vets.

"They don't realize that toxic wounds are wounds. Sleeping next to a burn pit is like sleeping next to an IED that goes off in your body seven years later," Stewart said.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is calling on Congress to approve a bill ensuring health care for veterans exposed to toxins while serving the country.The bill is called the PACT Act.A group gathered outside the WFW national headquarters in Kansas City.
