Raise Kansas City Taxes Or Earth Burns?!?

There are two obvious lies in the latest mailers for Kansas City's upcoming tax increase election.

1. Voting yes won't raise taxes . . . 

The Health Levy is set to expire . . . That would decrease taxes. Renewing it would THEREFORE INCREASE TAXES. This is simple arithmetic that KCMO media won't dare point out. 

2. Voting for more taxes & borrowing will somehow "protect the environment" and possibly delay certain doom that AOC promised us in less than 12 years. 

They offer this idea but don't provide any explanation or even a hint of "science" . . . Just the same old threats that a NO vote would raise rates . . . Despite the fact that water bills continue to rise year after year despite KCMO voters approving one sewer bond after the next.

Again, we'll be fair and offer a glimpse at their argument . . .
