The faux Irish pub in the P&L District had its charms and even employed a few real life Irish people when it first opened.
Sadly, its one of many local businesses that didn't survive the pandemic and/or the empty promises of the so-called "downtown renaissance" that still haven't materialized.
Here's a local news toast to good intentions . . .

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Thursday marked the final day of business for The Dubliner KC located in the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Owner Ryan Haverty told KSHB 41 News they signed a 10-year lease in March 2012 and tonight was their last call.
