Kansas City Offers Water Bill Help Amid Deceptive Sewer Bond Tax Increase

The price of a resource that's essential for life continues to climb.

Here's something to remember . . .

The last time they sold Kansas City sewer bonds, supporters claimed it would stall rising rates and would prevent further requests from city hall. Yet, here we are again, with KCMO asking for more money as residents slide into poverty.

Sadly, the only answer to critical questions has been promotion of emergency help . . .

KC Water partners with Mid America Assistance Coalition to help customers unable to pay their bill.

Eligible customers can receive up to $500 in a 12-month period. Call 211 or 816-474-5112 to apply.
