Here's the word with a reminder that Visit KC is off the butt of the joke via the Internets . . .

"Looks like VisitKC is up their old tricks. They are claiming 350,000 visitors will be coming downtown for the 2023 NFL Draft.  Last year NFL said 55,000 would attend the event in Cleveland and only 35,000 attended the free event . . ."

NFL Draft attendance falls short of expectations

Closing Bell CLEVELAND -- About 35,000 people attended the first round of the NFL Draft in Cleveland Thursday night, a league spokesperson said, well short of the stated capacity of 55,000. Rain and a cold wind off Lake Erie likely contributed to the attendance figures.
