KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Police Department is looking for an armed burglar who fire a shot inside the Family Dollar on Meyer Boulevard on March 1. KCPD posted a video of the incident that took place at about 8 p.m.

Blue Springs man charged with fatally shooting friend last Thursday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that happened inside a house in Blue Springs last Thursday. According to the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office, 43-year-old Jared M. Bailey has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.


Man dies in Monday afternoon Kansas City, Kansas, shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man is dead and a woman is in jail after a Monday afternoon shooting in Kansas City, Kansas. Police said they found the man with gunshot wounds just before 3 p.m. inside a vehicle in the 3800 block of Leavenworth Road. He died later at a hospital.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A California man has pleaded guilty after he was caught with a large amount of meth on a bus in 2019. According to court documents, 63-year-old Gary Aquerrebere plead guilty Monday to one count of possessing meth with the intent to distribute.


Belton man charged with kidnapping in Raytown AMBER Alert

RAYTOWN, Mo. - A Belton, Missouri man is charged with child kidnapping after he stole a vehicle at a Raytown gas station with a 2-year-old inside. Robert Mitchell, 34, faces a count of child kidnapping and one count of stealing a motor vehicle in an incident that prompted an AMBER Alert on Monday, March 7.
