The boy died at the hospital.Detectives said that the next day, the medical examiner's office noticed a suspicious injury to the baby.


Man charged in deadly shooting at south Kansas City gas station

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man has been charged in the shooting death of another man during a drug deal gone wrong at a Kansas City, Missouri, gas station last week. Jackson County prosecutor's charged Camoi J. Hendricks, 29, with second degree murder and armed criminal action.

'Very worried': KC family asking for help to find missing grandmother

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, police are searching for a missing great-grandmother from the city's east side. Family members said they haven't seen Bessie Collins, 87, since early Sunday morning. Her loved ones told FOX4 Collins has early-stage dementia and high blood pressure, and she'll need her medicines soon.


Missing south Kansas City man found deceased

Brent D. Kendrick, a south Kansas City resident and realtor, was located yesterday afternoon by detectives near the trail off of 103 rd St. Unfortunately he was found deceased at that location. Detectives are investigating but at this time there appears to be no signs of foul play, according to a statement released from the Kansas City Police Department.


Defendant in accidental shooting in KC Zoo parking lot receives 4-year sentence

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The man who accidentally shot and killed a 19-year-old in the parking lot of the Kansas City Zoo in August 2020 was sentenced Tuesday to four years in federal prison.


Stolen rare guitar returned to original KC owner years later

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The music has been returned to a Kansas City metro man, years after someone stole his rare guitar. A man who wanted to be known as Kirk said he bought the Neuser five-string bass guitar in 2003. It was handmade in Slovakia, but the guitars are no longer produced.
