RETAIL FAIL SADDENS COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA CUSTOMERS!!!

The premier entertainment district for Kansas City is quickly losing its luster.

Of course the rise of online commerce helped speed up the demise.

However . . .

THE KANSAS CITY BLM RIOTS/UPRISING ALSO DESERVES CREDIT FOR KILLING THE COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA!!!

Protesters from throughout the metro gathered to destroy one of the most iconic and historic shopping districts in all of the Midwest. 

The Plaza hasn't been the same since and its demise has tarnished the so-called "progress" of activists who claimed to champion equity, diversity and social justice but stood silent in the face of looting, violence, intimidation and beatings from riotous mobs who didn't really seem to care much about justice for George Floyd but simply wanted to burn stuff and maybe score a bit of swag.

"Kansas City-based re:mporium is the latest store to leave the Plaza. Other recent departures include Michael Kors, Nike, Victoria's Secret and Kate Spade."We've really seen it change over the last year or so, and it's just sad to see it like it is," said shopper Joyce . . ."

Experts explain growing property vacancies at Country Club Plaza

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Country Club Plaza has been called Kansas City's crown jewel, but a growing number of store vacancies are not helping the iconic shopping area's image. "I'm very disappointed and really unhappy with the direction the Plaza is taking," said shopper Jane Keithees.
