Park Hill Teacher Retires After N-Word Crisis & Proves American Public Education Doomed

Public schools in their current configuration are a waste of time. 

Even in Kansas City's urban core there is a successful move toward CHARTER SCHOOL education wherein communities, neighborhoods and stakeholders can exercise common sense in the administration of taxpayer resources.

It didn't seem like there wasn't any effort and mediation, counseling or intervention . . . The teacher and student were left to slug it out on social media and student protest hit the news with very little deets or context. 

We had an informative discussion about it last time around.

The Park Hill school district notified teacher Stuart Sullinger that it would terminate him after he repeated a racial slur said by a Black student. Sullinger then immediately submitted his letter of retirement, an official said.

The Park Hill school board was expected to consider Sullinger’s retirement as part of its routine consent agenda at its meeting on Thursday. He asked to retire effective Tuesday, March 1.
