Life Lesson For Local Teachers: Don't Repeat Student Trash Talk

This situation seems to be happening more often in local schools . . . 

Teachers are getting in much more trouble than students whilst enforcing classroom rules.

Consider . . . 

From the perspective of goof-ball students, this is kinda hilarious whilst career setbacks might not be as easy to laugh-off for instructors . . . Meanwhile, difficult disciplinary circumstances at the ground level amid a "cultural shift" make it easier to understand why there's an ongoing teacher shortage that has only been worsened by COVID.

The latest example . . .

In a note to students' families, principal Brad Kincheloe said, "A student used racist, inappropriate language, and then a staff member repeated the same racist, inappropriate language in questioning the student."

Park Hill High staff member placed on leave after repeating racist language

A Park Hill High School staff member has been placed on leave for using racist language, according to the school's principal.In a note to students' families, principal Brad Kincheloe said, "A student used racist, inappropriate language, and then a staff member repeated the same racist, inappropriate language in questioning the student."Kincheloe said the school is following its policies in handling this staff issue and the student's discipline.The principal said the school is providing counseling to any students or staff who need help processing their feelings about this incident.
