Kansas City Snowfall Aftermath: Weather Newsies Come Up Short Again

Yes, it snowed and life in Kansas City came to a standstill.

However . . .

LOCAL WEATHER NEWSIES PROMISED 9 TO 16 INCHES AND MOST REPORTS REVEAL KANSAS CITY ONLY ENDURED 3 & 1/2 INCHES!!! TOPS!!!

Sadly, as many denizens of the dating scene in this town can attest . . . 

This kind of broken promise is common in Kansas City but that doesn't make it right. 

Check the snow totals . . .

Even out in the suburbs this town didn't get much more than 4 inches.

And so . . . 

Once again we catch weather people over-promising and panicking locals. What's worse is that very few people are calling them out on it and local news stations don't even mention the immodest exaggeration which has impacted local budgets, event planning and the fantasies of people who watch far too much TV news.
