
Again and despite my Westside roots, TKC is a creature of Midtown and, of course, we think that's the most important part of Kansas City because it hosts higher traffic than almost anywhere else in the metro.
Accordingly . . .
We were happy to report a big of progress cleaning local streets.
However, the newspaper dug up some Mexican dude to complain about his icy streets.That's not a tough task given that talking to so many Latinos is an exercise in airing grievances.
Nevertheless . . .
There's the same "dividing line" story the newspaper has been running since 1991 . . .
"A winter storm dumped as much as nine inches of snow across parts of the Kansas City metro Thursday. While some residents have praised the city’s new snow removal plan, which includes deploying more trucks and 100 additional drivers, others say the East Side still doesn’t get the same attention as other areas."

On Friday afternoon, MarĂo Esquivel shoveled ice and snow outside his house near East 27th Street and Oakley Ave. The East Side resident said the road conditions in his neighborhood had made it impossible to get to work the past two days.
