Several travelers hung around Kansas City International Airport Wednesday morning hoping to make it to their destination. With the snow storm making its way into Kansas City overnight, several preemptive arrival flight cancellations led to cancellations in departures at the airport in the morning.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - No injuries were reported after a fire caused minimal damage to a new Kansas City, Kansas restaurant Tuesday night. The fire was reported just after 10:30 p.m. at The Restaurant KC located at 6720 Kaw Drive, near Jones BBQ.

RideKC says they provide warming buses with the temperature is below 10 degrees. For Kansas City, Missouri, there is a forecasted high of 19 degrees tomorrow and a low of 3 degrees.
