TKC Told You So: Rock Chalk Docs Repeat Morgue Space Scare

Over the weekend more than 70,000 locals crowded into Arrowhead stadium and, despite many runny noses, huddled close for warmth, used nasty packed restrooms close to one another and stood in line waiting for food in close proximity to their neighbors who didn't have to provide proof of vaxx. 

On Sunday night there wasn't much talk about COVID . . .

"We keep a close eye on our capacity," Dr. Katie Dennis, a pathologist who also does autopsies, said. "In this month of January, we're at or above our morgue capacity almost every day, which is definitely unusual."

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Thursday, the University of Kansas Health System spoke with their doctors who work to care for patients after they've died. They said the recent COVID-19 surge has posed a challenge. Dr. Katie Dennis, a pathologist who also does autopsies, said the month of January has been difficult for her department.
