Newsman Cancels Kansas City Star

There really isn't much of a blogosphere anymore given that most people are simply hate-watching their frenemies on social media but the language of the newspaper still resonates amongst the overly sentimental.

Accordingly, we LOVE the latest post from JimmyC wherein he shares some old school terminology and reveals a SHOCKING personal tidbit . . . 

THE LEGENDARY KANSAS CITY JOURNALIST ADMITS THAT HE NO LONGER SUBSCRIBES TO THE PAPER VERSION OF THE KANSAS CITY STAR!!!

This might not be a big deal for your average joe but for denizens of the local discourse, this is nothing less than Sunday sacrilege. 

Here's a bit of his confession . . .

"For the first time in my life, I no longer have a newspaper coming to my front door or into my yard.

"Several years ago we canceled home delivery of The Star, but we continued with a daily subscription to The New York Times. With The Star apparently no longer able or willing to hire enough carriers to guarantee consistent delivery, however, we decided last week to cancel."
