East Patrol Capt. Jennifer Jones saw flames erupting from a home near 25th & Prospect, and rushed to the door looking for anyone inside. Seeing a man trying to escape the burning house, Jones quickly pulled him to safety with minor burns. The two-alarm blaze was reported at roughly 8am this morning at 2500 block of Prospect.

Police say East Patrol Capt. Jennifer Jones took quick action when she saw flames erupting from a home near 25th & Prospect. Jones was in the area Thursday morning when Kansas City, Missouri police say she helped save a man from the fire. KCPD says the captain rushed to the door looking for anyone inside.
