Footage sent to KMBC 9 Sunday night shows people crowded around a car burning out while doing donuts at the intersection of West Pershing Road and Kessler Road between Union Station and the Liberty Memorial.
Minutes later Kansas City, Missouri, police arrive and onlookers begin to sprint back to their parked cars to flee the scene.
A representative with the Kansas City, Missouri, police department said officers dispersed that crowd around 9 p.m. — approximately 100 cars were involved.
