The Johnson County, Kansas Board of Public Health is reviewing its mask mandate for young students at Thursday's Board of County Commissioners meeting.Currently, masks are required in school buildings for pre-K through the sixth grade. A motion to rescind the current mask mandate for students ages 5-11 failed by a vote of five to two.
