For those who didn't get the send late last night . . .

Researcher Eric Garland filed this cryptic tweet and the response has been better than most of his other Beltway insider goodies . . .

That dude is brilliant but here's what he doesn't now and/or isn't saying . . . 

POLITICOS FROM INDEPENDENCE, MO TO KC PROPER DIDN'T SLEEP LAST NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE SLEW OF SEARCH WARRANTS!!!

File this under speculation because we're too terrified to get door knocked and the Feds don't need to laugh whilst TKC spills coffee and stutters.

However . . .

Insiders think that at least a bit of this investigation is directed toward a Missouri power player who has been under scrutiny for years. 

 What's really important are the implications . . .  

Locals have been talking about a crackdown from the feds for at least a year and now it looks like it's finally underway. Insiders are saying that the search warrants might not only connect to Independence, MO political scandal but also to KCI and so many other sketchy lobbying activities. 

Of course we're going to wait and see but let's not forget that MSM newsies have consistently dismissed the talk of local political corruption and now we're getting just a hint that more proof and a noteworthy case is underway.
