The crash happened shortly before 2 a.m.
A Kansas Highway Patrol crash log states the plow's warning lights were activated while treating the roadway.
For "unknown reason," a Chrysler Town and Country rear-ended the plow while traveling at highway speeds or greater, according to the crash log.

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) --- One man died early Saturday morning after his vehicle rear-ended a snow plow in Wyandotte County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The traffic report states that a Kansas Department of Transportation plow was treating the road and had its warning lights on when a second vehicle rear-ended it.
