TKC Must See: Record Shopping With Frogpond

If you're like TKC and don't have time for real friends . . . This clip is a SUBLIME GODSEND and a great example of EXCEPTIONAL LOCAL ALTERNATIVE JOURNALISM that deserves to be highlighted because most working-class people don't have the freedom to hang out at record shops and develop unique music tastes.

Even better . . .

For years Aaron Rhodes has shared EXCELLENT coverage of Kansas City's music scene but this latest interview & local adventure might be one of his greatest reports.

We notice that Mr. Rhodes is getting more love from cowtown mainstream outlets and we can only hope they're giving him more than scraps. He's an EXCEPTIONAL YOUNG MUSIC JOURNALIST and his work deserves a great deal of attention because he hustles to cover captivating stories and offers a really unique perspective on the local music scene.

Check his latest achievement that'll thankfully serve as our substitute for going out on a Saturday night amid a worsening plague . . .

"Which records, tapes, and CDs are your favorite local artists buying? On this episode of Record Shopping with Shuttlecock, we head to The Vinyl Underground at 7th Heaven (7621 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Missouri) with recently reunited alt-rockers Frogpond to do some digging. Tune in to find out what they copped."
