One victim, a 2-year-old, was located with a gunshot wound and has been taken to an area hospital. The victim's condition is unknown at this time.

No arrests have been made and no suspect description has been released.

2-year-old child wounded in drive-by shooting in Independence

INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) --- A 2-year-old was injured following a drive-by shooting in Independence. The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Glenwood, according to police. The condition of the child is unknown at this time. An arrest has not been made in the case yet, according to police.
