Grocery stores, strip malls and other shopping places are bustling this week.
Sadly, one of our readers didn't notice the same kind of activity from the streetcar this week.
Here's the word . . .
"Noon 11th & Main. Nothing going on besides empty trolleys going up/down Main St & ever-changing stoplights. When will the downtown revitalization that the streetcar promised arrive???"
In fairness . . . Of course developers hyping up local biz are singing a different tune.

Developer plans to convert two historic Kansas City buildings along future streetcar line
Exact Partners LLC continues to convert historic Midtown buildings to apartments following its completion of two such projects last year. The developer is putting together a $12 million plan to redevelop the ABC Storage & Van Co. warehouse and adjacent Anderson Electric Car Co.
