Apropos for #TBT we remember one of our blog favorites . . . We call him "the unsolicited bulk e-mail guy" and he was fierce.

He would blast every campaign who filled local e-mail boxes and call them out for the annoying and often unsavory practice. 

Unsolicited bulk e-mail pretty much RUINED this facet of Web 1.0 but the struggle continues . . . 

This time around we take a look at Mayor Q backing one of his pals in the Golden Ghetto . . .

He's the pitch/spam . . .

The crux of his pitch . . .

"To get through this pandemic and seize the opportunities ahead of us, our region needs Mike’s innovative leadership. I’ve seen first-hand how Mike brings folks together to build consensus and move things forward, both during his time as Mayor of Roeland Park and as Chairman of Climate Action KC."

And so . . .

We're fairly certain the Mayor Q has very little influence within the Golden Ghetto and this campaign shout out might be a bad idea . . . Or at least is one of many wastes of bandwidth.
