Kansas City 'Maker' Missive Celebrates Masks & Buying Local

We share this bit of naive optimism as a brilliant example of the hopeless optimism which powers the Kansas City creative class.

Sadly, what this scribe doesn't know or won't acknowledge is that local biz has undergone a devastating hit during the pandemic whilst the box stores have seen share prices and valuations skyrocket. 

The future is not local and "the company store" rules the local retail landscape.

Still, the relentless optimism deserves just a bit of acknowledgement . . .
