Once again, this should be a wake-up call for our community and elected leaders as the most violent month in KCMO history still looms . . .

Kansas City police identify teen killed near 70th, Agnes

Kansas City police said they are investigating a homicide Tuesday night near 70th Street and Agnes Avenue.Police said officers were called just after 7 p.m. to the 7000 block of Agnes Avenue on a person who was down and needed help. Authorities said officers found a male victim who had been shot outside a home.
