KANSAS CITY CHIEFS DESTROY DEFENSELESS RAIDERS!!!

And so . . .

The "low scoring" prediction of some fans (not me but some of you peeps) was woefully incorrect and it turns out that beating up on a bottom ranking team might be the greatest achievement of Kansas City at the conclusion of a week that was marked by a homicide spike and return of pandemic mask debate.

Therefore . . .

We can call the victory impressive in much the same way that, objectively, instances of spousal abuse are pretty one-sided if we're looking at them simply from a vantage of boxing technique.

However, as always, we share a Sunday moment of doubt . . .

Oddsmakers predicted this win and we have to wonder: How much does this game REALLY offer a preview of the playoffs???

But I digress . . .

Today Kansas City Chiefs fans earn are granted a boost to their self-esteem and one more reason to stop worrying so much about inflation or the inevitably that the dollar might one day soon be replaced as the world's reserve currency thereby ending era of American exceptionalism without firing a single shot.

Accordingly . . .

Here are more than a few irrationally exuberant headline rounding up today's game along with the Chiefs trolling their opposition . . .

Final score: Chiefs pounce early, completely smother Raiders in 48-9 win

For the second time in a month, the Kansas City Chiefs blew out the Las Vegas Raiders - but this time, the dominance came early and often.
