Is Grandview the new Raytown???

As always, we don't claim to know anything for certain. But a shooting today, in broad daylight in a neighborhood that really isn't so bad looks like it might provide some clues as the the fate of this exurb.

"Officers found the victim at a house in the 12000 block of Smalley Avenue at around noon. He was shot outside and went to the house for help, police said."

Man wounded in Wednesday morning shooting in Grandview, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man suffered serious injuries in a shooting on Wednesday in Grandview, Missouri. Officers found the victim at a house in the 12000 block of Smalley Avenue at around noon. He was shot outside and went to the house for help, police said.

GRANDVIEW, MO (KCTV) -- One person has been hospitalized after a shooting Wednesday morning in Grandview. Police were dispatched to the 12000 block of Smalley Ave. around 11:50 a.m. on a reported shooting. At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
